Receives ISO 9002 Certification

Baltimore, Maryland (September 16, 1996) - Martin Marietta Magnesia Specialties LLC announced they received ISO 9002 Certification for two major manufacturing facilities located at Manistee, Michigan and Woodville, Ohio.

ISO 9002 Certification relates to the quality systems' specification for production of all products manufactured at these locations. The scope of the registration covers the manufacture and supply of magnesium oxide, magnesium hydroxide, dolomitic lime, basic refractory products, aggregates and specialty grades of magnesia.
