Milled MagChem 10 grades have a combination of low reactivity, high purity and fine particle size which makes them suitable for the production of magnesium salts particularly in reaction with strong acids. Milled MagChem 10 grades also find applications in fiberglass, aluminum metal processing and fuel additives. Screened MagChem 10 products are widely used as a raw material in manufacturing refractories and ceramic products.
MagChem 20-SC is used in manufacturing grain oriented steel for high performance electrical transformers, specialty ceramics, and coatings.
MagChem 30 is used extensively as a magnesia source because of its high purity, controlled reactivity and its relative economy. MagChem 30 applications include sugar processing, sulfur oxides scrubbing, magnesium salts, construction products, lubrication oil additives and fuel additives.
MagChem 30-G is used in manufacturing specialty ceramics, high purity glasses, catalysts, and polystyrene. It is an excellent acid acceptor and readily dispersed in most fluid systems.
MagChem 35 is well suited for many chemical reactions because of its intermediate surface area and fine particle size. MagChem 35 is used in the manufacture of magnesium salts, construction products, fuel additives, oil drilling chemicals and rubber compounding.
MagChem 40 is well suited for many rubber formulations, particularly neoprene.  It finds wide use as a filler, anti-caking agent, and pigment extender. MagChem 40 is extremely efficient in chemical processes where ease of conversion is a factor. It is also used in the production of oil additives and the desilication of water.
MagChem 50 is well suited for chemical reactions where reactivity and rapid conversion to magnesium hydroxide are required because of its very high surface area. Its high purity and controlled activity make it an excellent magnesium source for the manufacture of many magnesium compounds. It is used in rubber compounds, plastic thickening, filtrate clarification, odor removal, and a variety of selective adsorptions.
MagChem 50M is well suited for chemical reactions where reactivity required because of its high surface area and extra fine particle size. It is recommended for use in rubber and plastic compounding.
MagChem 60 is well suited for chemical reactions where high reactivity and rapid conversion to magnesium hydroxide are required because of its very high surface area. Its high purity and controlled activity make it an excellent magnesium source for the manufacture of many magnesium compounds. It is used in rubber compounding, plastic thickening, filtrate clarification, odor removal, and a variety of selective adsorptions.
MagChem 200-AD is used as a thickener in sheet molding and bulk molding compounds and as a curing agent in neoprene/phenolic adhesives.
MagChem 200-D is used as a scorch retarder in Neoprene G, Hypalon, Vitron and other elastomers.
MagChem MH-10 is suitable for use in production of magnesium salts, ceramics and other general chemical applications.
